BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Swarthmore College Women's Cross Country raced to a 28th place finish at the 47th Annual Lehigh Paul Short Run on Friday afternoon.
The Garnet finished the Women's College Brown 6-kilometer race with 715 points. The race featured 39 programs from all three levels on NCAA competition.
Swarthmore was paced by
Nora Blodgett with a 61st place finish. Blodgett crossed with a time of 22:33.4, just ahead of University of Buffalo's Lily Meek.
Rose Teszler recorded a time of 23:29.9 for a 150th place finish.
Emma Novak was the next Garnet runner to finish the event with a time of 23:44.4.
Alina Irvine crossed in 176th place with a time of 23:46.5.
Ella Shenkar crossed in 24:25.0, while
Charisma Hasan rounded out the top five in 24:49.0.
The Garnet also received times of 25:15.1 from
Johanna Schubert and a time of 25:16.6 from
Morgan Mouer.
Swarthmore will return to the course on October 16th as they compete in the Rowan Border Battle in Glassboro, N.J.
