Women’s Cross Country Competes at Paul Short Run

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's cross country team returned to action at the Paul Short Run on Friday morning. 

Olivia Montini paced the Garnet for the third-straight race as she recorded the team's top finish in the College Brown 6K. Cat Crochunis-Brown also put together a strong performance as she recorded a new personal best.



WOMEN'S COLLEGE BROWN 6K
- Montini led the Garnet with a time of 23:11.1 to finish 158th overall in her first collegiate 6K race. Rose Teszler followed closely behind Montini with a time of 23:19.4.

- Crochunis-Brown finished third on the team with a 23:25.0 effort to set a new personal record. The senior took nearly a minute and 30 seconds off her previous top time at Lehigh.

- Alina Irvine crossed the finish line at 23:45.7 to set a new personal record by one second. The sophomore's previous top time was at last season's Paul Short Run. 

- Ella Shenkar posted a time of 24:07.1 to finish fifth on the team, while Maddie Farber followed closely behind with a 24:11.2 effort to set a new personal record. Charisma Hasan rounded out the team's top-seven with a time of 24:46.0.
