A balanced offense and stiff defense led the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team to its third straight win in convincing fashion, 17-7, over Moravian.
A total of 10 different goal scorers helped the Mules (6-1) crack a Greyhound (5-2) defense that entered the day ranked seventh in Division III allowing 4.83 goals per game and hadn't allowed more than seven goals in a game all season.
Brandon Moyer and freshman
James Dalimonte nearly combined for that total themselves with a three goals each.
Moyer's hat trick is the second of the season, while Dalimonte has netted three or more goals for the third time in the last four games.
Among the Mules' other goal scorers was freshman
Cooper Richards, who picked up the ground ball off a faceoff and took it straight to the cage for the first goal of his career to tie the game at four. That marker opened a string of five straight for Muhlenberg that resulted in an 8-4 lead two minutes into the third quarter and complete momentum. He added a career-best two assists for three points.
