How it Happened
• The Knights struck first, scoring in the 30th minute after they were awarded a penalty kick. Junior Xander LeFevre dove to his right to make the save on Marlon Trejo's shot. But Trejo was able to get to the rebound and put it home to put Neumann up 1-0.
• The Blue Jays answered in the 55th minute with a long-distance strike. Freshman Axel Whamond tracked down a ball near the left end line and dropped it back to senior Connor Jacobs. He centered the ball to junior Liam Creedon, who ripped a shot from 30 yards out past the outstretched hands of Knights' goalie Seth Walker.
