The Johns Hopkins men's track & field team took part in both the Penn Relays and the Paul Kaiser Classic over the weekend, and the Blue Jays had many season-best marks.

Other Meet Highlights:
• Jared Pangallozzi put together a career-performance in the 10k as his time of 30:14.06 placed him sixth in the event as currently ranks in the top-ten in the country and all but secures him a spot at NCAAs. His time is also the second-fastest mark in program history.
Ollie Hickson also put together a solid performance in the event as he clocked in with a time of 30:47.61.
• In the 5k,
Alex Doran became the fifth Blue Jay runner this season to post a time under 15 minutes as he completed the event in 14:54.82 while
PJ Murray closed the line in 15:10.10 and
Panth Patel clocked in with a time of 15:33.28.
• Day two action opened with the DMR team of
Ted Oh,
Rob Dembinski,
Sam Mollin and
Vipul Bhat clocking in with a time of 10:14.52 while
Matthew Su recorded a leap of 6.43m in the long jump.
• The Hopkins 4x400 relay team of
Alex Mollick,
Jonathon Brown,
Alex Dixon and
Nathaniel Amoah took home first in the event with a time of 3:19.83.

Blue Jay Winners:
• Matthew Su took home first in the long jump with a leap of 7.10-meters.
Other Meet Highlights:
• Mollick raced to a sixth-place finish in the 100-meters with a time of 10.97.
• The Blue Jay 4x100 relay team finished second in the event with a time of 42.43.
• Freshman
Justin Canedy finished third in the high jump with a mark of 1.97m and also earned a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.74m.
• In the pole vault,
Benjamin Huang finished in second with a mark of 4.45m while
Ethan Bartlett finished fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.36m.
