Match Summary
Gettysburg finished second to Franklin & Marshall for the second time in three events this spring. The Diplomats also won the McDaniel Invitational on March 27. The hosts featured all five starters among the top 10, including the No. 1 and No. 2 finishers in Jared Berlin and Jas Fuhrer. Berlin finished two-under 69, while Fuhrer posted a 73.

Moffat was a model of consistency on the course and lowered his personal best set last season by one stroke. He notched 16 pars on the day with his only blemishes a bogey on No. 6 and a double-bogey on No. 14. Moffat has lowered his score in each of his three rounds this spring. The third-place finish tied his personal best set just last Thursday at Gettysburg's own invitational.

Senior Quinn Greene (New Milford, Conn./Canterbury School) carded his second-straight 75 to finish tied for fourth. Greene posted a birdie on No. 10 and tallied two more birdies on the back nine. Dating back to last season, the senior has notched four consecutive top-10 finishes after tying for fourth on Monday.

Freshman Evan Drummond (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) posted a pair of birdies on par-3s on the back nine and tied his season low with a 77 to place in a tie for 13th in the field of 46. Finishing one stroke behind Drummond was sophomore Joseph Furlong (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) and freshman Cameron Deiuliis (Highland, Md./River Hill) who both tied for 17th. Deiuliis tied Greene for most birdies on the team with three, including two on the par-5 No. 12 and No. 18 holes. Furlong joined Deiuliis with a birdie on 18 and ended his round with a birdie on No. 7.
