The Franklin & Marshall football team (2-3, 1-3 CC) gets set for a road Centennial Conference matchup at Juniata (0-5, 0-4 CC) Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.

Last Game

Before heading into its bye week, Franklin and Marshall played a hard fought game in a 43-26 defeat to No. 8 Johns Hopkins on October 1. The Blue Jays scored the only touchdown of the first quarter to go up 7-0. F&M answered on a 12-yard touchdown pass from Ty Tremba to Tim Walters that capped an 83-yard drive and tied the game. Johns Hopkins later took a 20-7 lead into the halftime break.

F&M scored 10 and kept it to a one-possession game in the third quarter that was highlighted by an 87-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Rascoe with a minute left in the frame to cut the JHU lead to 20-17. The score was the sixth-longest pass completion in program history.

Johns Hopkins used a 23-point fourth quarter to pull away from F&M. The Diplomats only score in the fourth came on a touchdown pass from the one-yard line to Jack O'Hearen with three minutes left in the game.

Ty Tremba threw for 368 net passing yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Trey Glass had six catches for 131 yards, while Aaron Rascoe had five receptions for 106 yards in the game. Matt Scully had an interception in the game, which placed F&M tied for first in the nation with Aurora for most passes intercepted with 14. Read the recap here.

Last Time

Franklin & Marshall downed Juniata 41-13 during the 2021 season. Keshon Farmer '21 ran for 124 yards on 22 carries and scored three touchdowns in the win. The Diplomats got a defensive touchdown on a scoop-and-score by Kevonte Beard in the third quarter. The F&M defense also tallied five sacks in the win. Read the recap here.

Juniata Team Preview

The Eagles have yet to pick up their first win this fall, with their most recent loss coming from a 51-7 defeat at Moravian. Quarterback Noah Wright averages 154.4 yards per game through the air. Running back Hunter Wolfley averages 4.5 yards per carry and 69 yards per game with one of the Eagles two rushing touchdowns this fall. Julian Jackson is Juniata's top receiver, averaging four receptions per game for 50.8 yards per contest. Jackson also has two receiving touchdowns this year. The Juniata defense has allowed 544.6 yards per game this season.
