Women’s Golf Places Second in Tri-Match

Results

GETTYSBURG, Pa.  –  Freshman Cameron D'Amica (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) led the Gettysburg College women's golf team to a second-place finish in a tri-match with McDaniel College and the University of Mary Washington at The Links at Gettysburg on Sunday afternoon.
 
For the first time this fall, D'Amica led the Bullets as she carded a 91 to finish second out of 14 competitors. Mary Washington's Andrea Dill led the way with an 81, while McDaniel's Kelsey Kirkman took third with a 93 to round out the top three.  
 
Senior Gillian Marini (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) shot a 102 to place fifth overall, while fellow classmate Keira Cooney (Glenmoore, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) tied for sixth with a 106.
 
Senior Virginia Martin (Pearland, Texas/Dawson) and sophomore Lindsay Waller (Perry, Mich./Perry) rounded out the lineup by shooting 106 and 129, respectively.
 
The Bullets return to action next spring 2019.
