• The Short Story: Many members of the Johns Hopkins men's track and field team set new career-best times on day two of the David Hemery Invitational, which was hosted by Boston University.

Other Meet Highlights:
• Rafael Ferguson earned a 15
th-place finish in the 60-meter dash as he crossed the line in 7.24.
Ian Imery finished 26
th with a time of 7.34 which set a new personal-best time.
• In the mile,
Scott Pourshalchi posted a time of 4:16.74 while
Vipul Bhat crossed the line with a time of 4:16.89. This marks the second and third times this season a Blue Jay runner has run 4:16 in the mile with
Alex Doran also running a 4:16 mile last weekend.
• The highlight of the meet for Hopkins was the 3k where eight of the 10 Blue Jay runners set new personal best times in the event. Doran led the way with a new school and personal-best time of 8:26.90 while
PJ Murray finished in a new career-best time of 8:28.84.
Panth Patel (8:33.04),
Ollie Hickson (8:35.36) and
Andrew King (8:36.23) all had solid races setting new career-best marks while freshman
Sean Laidlaw (8:37.09),
Conner Delahanty (8:39.55) and
Patrick Dye (8:40.09) also had strong races and set new personal best times.
Jared Pangallozzi (8:42.69) and
Will Howe (8:52.31) rounded out the race for JHU.

Alex Ozbolt put together a good performance in the 800-meter run as the freshman finished with a time of 1:56.34 and
Jack Armand finished in 1:56.96.

• JHU will participate in its final meet before the Centennial Conference Championships as the Blue Jays will head to Haverford for the Keogh Invitational on Saturday, February 16.
