ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The Washington College men's swim team took top spot in nine of 14 events on Saturday afternoon in a 172-86 win over host St. Mary's at the The Aquatics Center at the MPOBARC in non-conference men's swimming action.

Shoremen Highlights

Gage Mandrell won a pair of events for the Shoremen as he took top spot in the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.42) and the 200 backstroke (1:54.82).

Zach Affeldt won two events for Washington as he captured first in the 200 individual medley (2:03.14) and 200 breaststroke (2:17.65).
- Winning one event each were
Bianti Danaj in the 50 freestyle (22.15),
Justin Fitzpatrick in the 100 butterfly (53.04) and
Chase Hensen in the 100 breaststoke (1:00.25).
- The 200 medley relay team of
William Schmidt, Hensen, Danaj and Fitzpatrick notched first place with a time of 1:38.42 and the 400 freestyle relay squad of Fitzpatrick,
Jay Dadhania,
JB Peterson and Affeldt recorded the top time of 3:29.29.
Notes
- The Shoremen are now 3-3 overall and the Seahawks are 7-4 on the season.
