THE SKINNY STORY
The Gettysburg women's swim team took gold in half of the meet's events to down Franklin & Marshall in their first dual of the season.
THE LEADERS
•
Mia Yancey (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) took first as part of the 400 medley relay A-Team (4:04.74), in the 200 freestyle (1:58.91), in the 100 freestyle (54.87), and took second as a member of the 200 freestyle relay (1:41.09).
FOR THE FOES
• Sophie Moyer placed first in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke for the Diplomats, and as part of the 200 freestyle relay A-Team.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The A-Team, made up of Lindsey Blake (Chester Springs, Pa./Downington East),
Elissa Clancy (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield), Yancey, and
Olivia Pyott (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim) took first in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:04.74.

Emma Anderson (Manhasset, N.Y/Manhasset) touched first in the 1000 freestyle for the second time in a row, with a time of 11:00.74. She dropped over five seconds from last meet, and she won the event by almost seven seconds.
•
Maya Lily Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy) took home first place in the 50 breaststroke, with a time of 31.56 seconds. She narrowly edged out teammate Pyott, who took second with a time of 31.96.

Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) helped Gettysburg complete a sweep of the 50 butterfly, touching first with a time of 26.95. Clancy finished second with a time of 27.23, and
Natalie Wisniewski (Summit, N.J./Summit) came in third at 27.62.
THE INSIDE STORY
•
Ava Collin (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) placed second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:01.53, and in the 100 freestyle (55.22).
• Wisniewski took second in the 50 backstroke (28.67).
• In the 100 butterfly,
Elissa Clancy finished second at 1:00.60, while
Annabel Gorman (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) took third at 1:02.36.

Olivia Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J/Egg Harbor Twp.)improved her placement in the 50 freestyle, coming in at 25.66, dropping eight-hundredths of a second from the previous meet.
• Pyott placed second in the 100 breast at 1:08.67.
• In the 500 freestyle, Blake took third with a time of 5:30.73.

Elissa Clancy finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:00.58).
• Anderson touched second in the 400 IM, finishing at 4:44.00.
• The 200 freestyle relay, made up of Yancy,
Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J/Millburn), Evans, and Collin, placed second at 1:41.09.
