Men's Lacrosse Gets Sixth Straight Win

SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Lacrosse remained perfect in 2019 with an 11-2 win over the Drew University Rangers at home on Saturday.

Jake Ross and Austin Chang tallied hat tricks to lead Swarthmore to its sixth straight victory. Ross now has two hat tricks and Chang picked up his third. The two lead Swarthmore with 22 points and 21 points, respectively, this season.

Swarthmore is 6-0 for the first time since the 2000 season.

Ryan Izquierdo, Dylan Rittenhouse, Ryan Mulvey, Will Vespole and Zander Levitz all scored a goal as well. Levitz had a pair of assists as well.

Frankie Dillon made six saves in the win. The Garnet were dominant at the faceoff x, winning 14-of-17 attempts.

Drew scored the first goal of the game 10 minutes in, but Swarthmore responded with three straight to end the quarter ahead. Drew tagged the first goal of the second but that would be the last goal for the Rangers. The Garnet then scored the next eight straight goals to lock up the win.

Swarthmore tries to make it a 7-0 start on Wednesday when it travels to Arcadia University.
