LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The regionally ranked Gettysburg College men's cross country team displayed a strong showing at the Lock Haven Invite on Saturday morning, placing 10th out of 32 teams, which included Division I, II, and III schools. The Bullets were the top Division III finisher.

The Finish Line
- Sheldon traversed the 8,000-meter course in a personal-record time of 25:52.3, finishing 12th out of 373 runners, placing as the second Division III runner among the top 15.
- Finishing second for the Orange and Blue was McKeever, who came in 29th in a PR time of 26:13.9.
- He was followed across the line by freshman Connor Elliott (Media, Pa./Salesianum), who took 88th in 27:12.6 and senior Aren Heitmann (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe), who placed 95th in a PR time of 27:22.3. Freshman Joseph Potz (Crestline, Calif./Rim of the World) completed the team scoring, taking 140th in 27:57.5.
- Displacers were junior Luke Matzke (Collegeville, Pa./Malvern Prep), who placed 159th in 28:11.0, and sophomore Patrick Neighbour (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional), who was 161st in 28:12.4, both notched new PR times.

- Today's race was the biggest meet that Lock Haven has ever hosted.
- This was Gettysburg's first time competing at the Lock Haven Invite.
