The Muhlenberg women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, falling 85-44 to DeSales in its final game of 2018.
The Mules, whose 9-0 started landed them at No. 25 in the
Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll released earlier in the day, fell behind 12-2 at the start and saw the deficit climb through a first half in which the Bulldogs (8-2) shot 50 percent from three-point range.

Mikaela McGarvey led Muhlenberg with 9 points off the bench, and senior
Carley Hamilton pulled down 9 rebounds.
