Fresh off his walkoff double in yesterday's sweep of Franklin & Marshall, senior Matt Riebesell's second home run of the season proved to be the Muhlenberg baseball team's only run in a 7-1 set back at Haverford.
 
It was a pitchers' duel through five and a half. After a bottom of the first in which the Fords (11-11, 2-4 CC) scored on a two-out RBI single through the left side, senior RJ Hennessey retired the side in order in four-straight innings.
 
Riebesell sent the first pitch he saw in the bottom of the sixth over the fence in left field with two outs. Muhlenberg (12-12, 2-4 CC), looking to respond to a two-run bottom of the sixth by Haverford, opened with a Jon Capra walk and saw him advance as far as third before the inning ended.
 
The Fords put a stamp on the game with a four-run seventh.
 
Junior Jack Avallone led Muhlenberg with his seventh two-hit game of the season. Capra's to open the seventh extended his streak of reaching base safely to a career-high 12 games.
