60 Hurdles
• In the 60 meter hurdles,
Annie Gutierrez broke the Hopkins Indoor record, finishing second in 9.12 seconds. Her time is .01 seconds faster than
Maya Hammonds previous record.
Pole Vault
• The Blue Jays went 1,2,4 in the pole vault, with Gutierrez leading the way with a 3.51 meter vault.
Sophia Cortazzo placed second at 3.36 meters and
Miayunique South finished fourth at 3.21 meters.
Long Jump
•
Marissa Hsu shattered her own freshman record with a 5.39 meter long jump. Hsu previously held the freshman record at 5.26 meters. The freshman placed third at the event.
Triple Jump
•
Veronica Montane placed fifth in the triple jump, posting the best jump by a Blue Jay so far this season. Montane pulled off a 10.90 meter jump on her final jump of the meet.
Shot Put
•
Kelsey Neff posted her second-best shot put of the season at 11.76 meters, finishing third at the event.
Men
60 Hurdles

Justin Canedy ran his second-fastest time of the season in the first round of the 60 hurdles, running an 8.71 to qualify for the finals.
High Jump
• Canedy picked up a victory in the high jump, leaping 2.00 meters, his best jump of the season by 0.04.
Long Jump
• The sophomore also grabbed a top-five in the long jump, hitting a 3.80 meter mark to place third.
Up Next
• The Blue Jays will participate in the Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford. The event is set to take place at 10 a.m. next Saturday.
