WESTMINSTER, Md. – McDaniel College won the final five points to deny Gettysburg College's comeback bid and hold on for a 3-1 decision in Centennial Conference volleyball action inside the Gill Center Wednesday evening.

Match Summary
- Set 1: McDaniel led from start-to-finish, running off the first four points and taking a 10-point lead (17-7) on a block by Edelstein. The Bullets rallied to slice the double-figure deficit in half, but would get no closer.
- Set 2: The two teams battled in a high-flying second set that featured nine ties and four lead changes. Both teams hit over 31 percent in the frame and combined for 35 kills. Tied 17-all, the Bullets rattled off three-straight points with two kills by Garison sandwiched around a kill by Fletcher. Back-to-back errors by McDaniel at the end of the match handed Gettysburg the 25-22 win.
- Set 3: The Bullets erased a five-point deficit to tie the contest 15-15 on a block by Kuba-McCoy and Bayer. A service error by the visitors set the hosts on a three-point run and McDaniel closed the win with a kill from Jezerski.
- Set 4: Gettysburg led by as many as four in the early going, but McDaniel steadily chipped away at the margin until overtaking the visitors 17-15 following a three-point run. The Bullets tied it with back-to-back blocks and jumped in front 20-18. Trailing 22-20, the Green Terror rallied for the final five points.

McDaniel has won the last three meetings with Gettysburg and improved to 45-29 all-time against the Bullets.
