YORK, Pa. – The Gettysburg College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to York (Pa.) College to close out the fall campaign Saturday afternoon.

York swept through doubles play, taking the opening two matches at the second and third flights 8-3. Juniors
Patrick Bodovitz (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) and
Harrison Brown (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) turned in the closest decision with an 8-4 loss at No. 1.
Sophomore
Alec Shalk (Milton, Del./Smyrna) accounted for Gettysburg's lone win at fifth singles. After splitting the opening two sets against Josiah Forry, the sophomore pulled out a super tiebreaker to claim a 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 victory.
Where the Series Stands Now
York picked up its first win over Gettysburg since 2015. The Bullets lead the all-time series against the Spartans 14-6.
