ST. DAVID'S, PA - The Swarthmore College golf team tied for the top team score at the Eastern Invitational on Thursday afternoon. The Garnet shot a team score of 314 (+34) to tie with Rosemont College for the top team score.
Michael Brown tied for second overall individually, while the Garnet placed three individuals inside the top-10 scorers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brown tied for second overall with four other individuals. The senior shot a 76 (+6) on the afternoon to pace the Garnet.

Ben Lee and
Ankur Malik both earned top-10 finishes for the Garnet. The duo tied for seventh overall with a score of 79 (+9).

Gyan Bains placed just outside the top-10 with a score of 80 (+10) to round out the Garnet scorers, while
Zack Zawisny shot an 82 (+12) on the day.
