The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team wrapped up the 2019 season at Franklin and Marshall, falling 15-4.
The Mules (8-8, 3-6 CC) scored the first goal in each half. Senior
Amanda Tullo scored the game's first goal on a man-up free-position goal just short of five and half minutes in. It would be the Mules' only goal of the half however, with the fourth-ranked Diplomats (14-3, 9-0 CC) netting the next 11 markers. Junior
Gabriella Crivelli snapped the run just over two minutes into the second half off a feed from Tullo.
Crivelli added a team-best three ground balls, while senior
Morgan Weiss caused three turnovers and sophomore
Lauren Sammarro registered three draw controls.
Tullo figured in all four Muhlenberg goals, scoring on two other free-position shots in the second half. The senior recorded a hat trick in 13 of 16 games this season to finish with 31 for her career. She scored in each of her last 40 games, the second-longest streak in program history. Her career comes to a close with 213 points (fifth most all-time) on 151 goals (sixth most all-time) and 62 assists (ninth most all-time).
