Both Muhlenberg cross country teams placed in the top 10 at the DeSales Invitational, site of next month's NCAA Division III Mideast Regional.
The men came in sixth out of 25 complete teams, while the women were seventh.
The men's team placed two runners in the top 10, with senior
Corey Mullins coming in fifth, one place ahead of junior
Jason Richwall. The finish was the best ever for Richwall in an 8K race.
Freshman
Jonah Silverman and seniors
Christopher Funge (pictured above right) and
Stuart Bibeau rounded out the Mules' top five.
For the women, freshman
Abby Dalton placed third overall in a very competitive field of 245 finishers. Another freshman,
Marielle Avola (pictured above left) placed 29th.
A trio of juniors,
Stephanie Ng,
Santina Zouras and
Victoria Cabellos, also placed in Muhlenberg's top five.
It was the last race for both teams until the Centennial Conference Championships in three weeks.
