The Muhlenberg volleyball team fell in straight sets to Centennial Conference foe Gettysburg.

With three conference matches remaining, the Mules are still alive in the CC playoff picture. Muhlenberg and Swarthmore, who will meet on October 30, are tied with three CC wins each. Ahead of them are Haverford, Dickinson and Gettysburg with four conference wins each. The Mules beat Dickinson earlier this season.

Looking to extend the match, Muhlenberg (9-12, 3-4) came out with early momentum in the third set. Freshman
Emma Eglinton started the set with an ace to help the Mules build up a 5-2 lead. Gettysburg (13-10, 4-3) battled back to tie the game at eight before going on to open a 14-10 lead.

With 21 digs, Illovsky cracked the top 10 on Muhlenberg's all-time list. She has 1,148 digs in her career.
