CARLISLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Golf team competed in the Dickinson College Spring Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
Ursinus had five members compete at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course and totaled a team score of 481 to finish seventh as a team. Gettysburg won the team title with a final tally of 338 and Reilly Melvin of F&M won the individual title with a low round score of 77.
Sophomore
Kaylin Chen paced the Bears by recording her lowest round score of the season at 87 (+15) and tied for eighth overall. For the day, Chen recorded six pars with three each coming on the front and back nine.
Junior
Rebecca Chernoff finished second among the Bear golfers and tied for 32nd overall after posting a final score of 114 (+42). Sophomore Elliott Schott carded a score of 119 (+47) and placed third among the Ursinus golfers (34th overall)
First-year
Lucy Bamford registered a 161 (+89) and finished 36th overall (fourth among Bear golfers) while junior
Bethany Baskerville rounded out the Bears scores with a 184 (+112).
The Bears will return to action on Wednesday, April 19th as they will compete in the Albright Spring Invitational at the Golden Oaks Golf Club for their final match before Centennial Championships at 12:00 p.m.
