SWARTHMORE, Pa.—No. 13 Swarthmore College Men's Basketball cruised to an 88-55 win over the Delaware Valley University Aggies in Saturday night's 2018-19 home opener.
The Garnet built a comfortable 13-point lead by halftime and blew the game wide open with a 20-0 run in the latter part of the second half.

Cam Wiley led all scorers with 17 points, going 8-for-12 from the floor (66.7 percent) while collecting five rebounds and dealing out three assists. Three other Garnet teammates reached double figures in scoring. Freshman
George Visconti did so for the second game in a row, scoring 16 points. Classmate
Colin Shaw dropped in 12 points while shooting 5-of-7.
Ryan Ingram got the start and added in 11 points with four rebounds and three assists.

Nate Shafer only tallied three points, but had a monster game in the paint still, wrangling up 10 rebounds and blocking seven Del Val shots.
Zac O'Dell added nine rebounds and three blocks.
With Shafer and O'Dell protecting the rim, Swarthmore limited Del Val to just a 30.9 percent night shooting from the floor.
The Garnet shot 54 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from 3-point range. Forty-two of Swarthmore's 88 points were scored within the paint.
Swarthmore plays its first Centennial Conference contest of the year at home on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Washington College.
