The Muhlenberg men's golf team opened the 2018-19 year in fine form, tying for fourth at the Dickinson Fall Invitational.

Despite wet conditions, the Mules finished with a team score of 304, just two strokes off their best from all of last year.

Three Muhlenberg players shot career bests, led by senior Ellis Focht, who tied for seventh with a 1-over-par 73. His previous low round was 74, achieved three times previously.

Freshman Joel Hark made an impressive collegiate debut with a 74, and sophomore Matt Polverino (pictured above) cut five strokes off his low score from last year, finishing with a 79.

Sophomore Spencer Weiner shot in the 70s for the sixth time in his career, carding a 78.
