WATERFORD, Conn. - The Dickinson men's cross country team returned to action on Saturday at the Connecticut College Invitational at Harkness Memorial State Park earning a 20th-place finish in the 23 team field.
Romario Cruz was the first Red Devil to cross the line taking 93rd in the 383-runner field with a time of 26:01.5. He barely edged out teammate
Alexander Kane who came in 94th at 26:01.6.
Matthew Dietrick was next with a mark of 26:24.0 good for 129th, while
Brock Overlander and
William Tripp took 134th (26:27.0) and 136th (26:27.6) respectively.
James Marks crossed the stripe at 26:32.0 in 143rd, followed by
Benjamin Moseman who clocked in with a time of 26:33.5. Nolan Meinke (26:38.1),
Teddy Mercer (26:45.8),
Michael Loalbo (26:57.8),
James Masterson (27:47.7),
Charlie Miske (28:01.8),
Matthew Gareau (28:05.4),
Ethan Katz (28:30.1),
Trevor Richwine (28:33.9),
Coltin Albitz (28:45.3),
Chris Lozano (29:07.3),
Max Collins (29:22.2), and
Matthew Foote (34:06.2) also competed in the event.
Elias Lindgren from Williams College won the individual title with a time of 23:43.3, while MIT took home the team crown with 46 points.
