Race Highlights
Rebecca Grusby led an outstanding pack of Johns Hopkins runners, finishing third in the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle with a time of 21:04.1. Hopkins grabbed fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth as well, placing all five runners in the top-eight. Ariel Keklak, Therese Olshanski, Sam Levy and Kristin Meek finished in those respective spots. Keklak and Olshanski were separated by just a tenth of a second for fourth and fifth place. Levy finished in 21:11.5 with Meek a few seconds behind to finish eighth with a time of 21:20.
 
Coach Van Allen's Thoughts
- "We continue to emphasize working as a pack and I thought we really executed that well today compared to our last meet in Louisville. We were much more packed up 1-5 at the mile marker and really worked better with each other."
- "Kristin Meek really stepped up huge joining our top 4 in Levy, Grusby, Keklak and Olshanski.  Having that 15 second gap 1-5 is going to be critical for us to do well at the NCAA Championships."
- "We ran one of our fastest average times for 6k in 21:10 and with 8 women breaking 22 minutes including two freshman in Callie Jones and Steph Brown. I think we have a very bright future. As we continue to gel as a team each week becomes more and more exciting as we know we have our work cut out for us in these remaining 5k weeks prior to NCAAs."
