LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. - In a preview of the NCAA Regional course,
Nora Blodgett and Emma Novak led Swarthmore College Women's Cross Country at the Rowan Border Battle on Saturday.
The Garnet finished in 10th place out of 35 teams with 373 points. Blodgett crossed the finish line of the 6K-course at Dream Park in 36th place with a time of 23:34.86. Novak added a time of 24:25.10 and a 77th place finish for Swarthmore.
Rose Teszler finished the race 24:30.26, while
Cat Crochunis-Brown crossed in 24:47.45.
Alina Irvine rounded out the top five for the Garnet with a time of 24:59.74.
Morgan Mouer concluded the race in 25:57.66 and
Johanna Schubert crossed in 26:13.03.
The Garnet will have a week off before they head to Cockeysville, Md. to compete in the Centennial Conference Championships. The women's race is slated to begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Agriculture Farm.
