Colin Devlin (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin) and junior
Michael Carioscia (Pawling, N.Y./Canterbury School) won their respective weight brackets and Gettysburg College finished second overall in the team standings at its home invitational inside Bream Gym Saturday.

Tournament Highlights
- Devlin picked up his third career title on the strength of a decision and three pins. He opened with a 5-1 decision before tacking on a third-period pin in his second bout. Paired against Logan Duers from Castleton in the 157 semis, Devlin turned his opponent's shoulders to the mat in just 36 seconds. He added a second-period fall over McDaniel's Alexander LaVeck in the championship.
- Carioscia locked down his first-ever collegiate title with three wins at 174. He ran off an 18-3 technical fall in his opening match before pulling off a close 5-2 decision over teammate Nolan Smith (Olney, Md./Paint Branch). In the finals, Carioscia came away another close decision, downing Alvernia's Chase Smith 5-3. Smith bounced back to win his consolation match and finished fourth.
- Last year's Gettysburg Invite champ at 157, Martin took runner-up at 165. He won each of his first three matches by pin, including a 4:09 fall against Tanner Vogel from Alvernia in the semifinals. The Gettysburg sophomore was upended 6-2 by Kevin Edwards from Messiah in the finals. Junior Marc Larson (Warren, N.J./Watchung Hills) placed fourth at 165 on the strength of three wins, including a pin in the consolation semifinals.
- Thompson secured a win in the consolation final to take third at 141. The Gettysburg junior won his first bout with a second-period fall before getting beat by decision in the quarterfinals. He ended his day with four-straight wins, including a 28-second fall. Thompson won the third-place bout over Jack Coulston from Penn State Mont Alto by decision 9-4.

- Gettysburg led all teams with 16 pins in the tournament.
- The Bullets won a total of 50 matches with 18 different wrestlers scoring a victory.
- Freshman Brendan Loder (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) turned in the most points in a single match during the tournament with a 22-7 tech fall at 184 pounds.
- Devlin continued his climb up Gettysburg's all-time lists. The senior jumped into a tie for 10th with former national champion Craig Helmuth '78 with 89 career victories. The senior also moved into fourth on Gettysburg's career list with 33 pins and is one shy of Matt Shank '08 for No. 3.
