THE SKINNY STORY
The Gettysburg men's swim team won six of fourteen events to carry them to victories over both Washington and Dickinson.
 
THE LEADERS
• Nick Cox (Purcellville, Va./Ponte Verda) racked up two first place finishes, in the 100 backstroke (53.00) and as a part of the Gettysburg Men's 200 Medley Relay A Team (1:36.55), as well as second place in the 200 backstroke (1:59.03).
• Luke McKenna (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) also won two races, touching first in the 200 fly (1:58.46) and the 500 freestyle (4:54.78).
• Max McAlister (Powell, Ohio, Olentangy) was also part of the Medley Relay winning team, and contributed a win in the 100 butterfly, coming in at 52.88. He also finished second in the 200 fly, behind McKenna, with a time of 2:00.08.

FOR THE FOES
• Washington College was Gettysburg's closest competitor, winning eight of the fourteen events. Every event not won by Gettysburg was won by Washington.
• Gage Mandrell of Washington placed first in the 200 freestyle (1:45.27), the 50 freestyle (21.34), and as part of the Washington College Men's 400 Freestyle Relay A Team (3:13.16).  

THE REST OF THE STORY
• The 200 Medley Relay was won by the team of Cox, McAlister, Cort Hobelmann (Nashville, Tenn./Owensboro Catholic), and Zac Evans (Egg Harbor Twp, N.J/Egg Harbor Twp.), with a time of (1:36.55)
• Harry Nelson (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) won his first event as Gettysburg College swimmer, taking first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:19.84.
• Conor Vienneau (Newburg, Md./Laplata) placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:48.20) and the 500 freestyle (5:01.71).
• Jack Murphy (Potamac, Md./Winston Churchill) finished second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.21, behind teammate Cox.
• Charlie Cross (Charlottesville, Va./Albemarle) touched second in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, with times of 1:00.56 and 2:11.97, respectively.
• Luca Tolino (New Market, Md./Oakdale) placed second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.03.
 
THE INSIDE STORY
• Hobelmann notched Gettysburg's highest finish in the 50 freestyle, coming in third with a time of 22.48.
• Hunter Sundlun (Richmond, Va./St. Christophers School) placed third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.18. His time was only one tenth behind first place finisher Chase Hensen of Washington.
• Joe Curry (Phillipsburg, N.J/Phillipsburg) placed third in the 500 freestyle, with a time of 5:02.90.
• Mason Dillon's (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) time of 2:05.28 earned him third in the 200 IM.
• The Gettysburg College Men's 400 Freestyle Relay A Team, made up of Hobelmann, Sundlun, Lorenzo Zullo (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk), and Cross placed third with a time of 3:15.61.
