• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins men's track & field team put on a show as the Blue Jays won the Towson Invitational, which featured Division I competition, on Saturday afternoon.

Johns Hopkins Winners:
• Ethan Bartlett took home first in the triple jump with a leap of 14.09m.
Other Meet Highlights:
• Freshmen
Justin Canedy and Bartlett continued to impress as they finished two-three in the high jump. Canedy finished second with a mark of 1.94m while Bartlett finished in third with a mark of 1.86m. Canedy also registered a third-place finish in the 110-hurdles (16.51) and a fourth-place finish in the pole vault (3.35m).

Matthew Su finished fourth overall in the long jump with a leap of 6.79m while
Benjamin Huang took second in the pole vault, clearing 4.25m.

Alex Mollick earned a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.88 and crossed the line in ninth in the 200 with a time of 22.46.
• In the javelin, JHU took home third and fourth with
Zach Ellis (50.69) finishing third and
Kyle Battles earning a fourth-place finish with a throw of 50.00.
• Hopkins took three of the top-10 spots in the 1,500-meter run with
PJ Murray (4:01.39) leading the way in second followed by
Ted Oh (4:05.23) in sixth and
Patrick Dye (4:06.99) in ninth.
• The 800-meter run was dominated by Johns Hopkins as five Blue Jays finished in the top-10 led by
Alex Dixon (1:56.02),
Alex Ozbolt (1:56.32) and
Alex Condotti (1:56.82) who finished 2-4.
Rob Dembinski (1:56.90) finished sixth while
Jack Armand (1:57.45) finished eighth.

• Hopkins will host the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational on Saturday, April 12 with the field events beginning at 10 am and track events getting started at 11 am.
