The Franklin & Marshall men's basketball team (2-1) plays a non-conference game on the road against Albright (1-2) Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Last Week

The Diplomats defeated Elizabethtown 83-78 in the season opener last Tuesday. F&M was down by nine points with 1:46 remaining in the game when the Diplomats started an amazing 14-0 run to outlast the Blue Jays. Read the recap here.

F&M then started the William Marshall Tip-Off Tournament on Friday. The Diplomats advanced to the championship game after beating Cairn 86-62. First year's Vakaris Grauslys and Dylan Cormac combined to hit 8-of-12 (66 percent) from beyond the arc in the win. Read the recap here.

In the championship game of the William Marshall Tip-Off Tournament, F&M fell to Hampden-Sydney 80-64 on Saturday. Jaylen Green led the game in scoring with 20 points off the bench, shooting 7-of-12 (58.3 percent) from the field and 6-of-11 (54.5 percent) from three. Omar Nichols also finished with double-digit points with 13 in the game. Read the recap here.

Last Time

Franklin & Marshall put together a comeback victory against Albright, 71-65, last season. F&M faced a nine-point second half deficit with 9:39 left in the game. The Diplomats put together a comeback rally where they shot nearly 52 percent from the field to push past the Lions. Soloman Mathis '21 and John Seidman led the Diplomats in scoring, posting 23 and 20 points respectively. F&M shot 41.5 percent from the field in the victory. Read the recap here.

Albright Team Preview

Albright comes into Friday's game after defeating Penn State Berks 90-76 in its season opener. The Lions then competed in the Bridgewater Tournament, where they were defeated by Bridgewater College 77-67 and Eastern Mennonite 84-80. Guard Zyon Grant is the team's leading point scorer. Averaging 12 points per game, Grant shoots 43.8 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from beyond the arc. Guard Eric Chamberlain averages four assists per game to lead the Lions in assists. Chamberlain also leads Albright in steals, averaging three per game.
