THE SKINNY STORY
The Gettysburg women's swim team won seven of fourteen events in the Centennial Conference quad meet to defeat Bryn Mawr, Dickinson, and Washington.
THE LEADERS
•
Olivia Pyott (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Twp.) claimed first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.28, and the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:29.84.
•
Lindsay Blake (Chester Springs, Pa./Downington East) collected first place honors as a member of the Gettysburg 200 Medley Relay B Team, and as an individual in the 200 backstroke (2:13.18).
FOR THE FOES
• Gettysburg's closest opponent was Dickinson, who finished with 99 points.
• The other seven events that Gettysburg did not win were all won by Dickinson swimmers.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• The Medley Relay B team consisting of Blake,
Maya Lily Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy),
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill), and
Olivia Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.) narrowly upset the A Team (
Natalie Wisniewski (Summit, N.J./Summit), Pyott,
Elissa Clancy (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield),
Ava Collin (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga)) by a margin of eight hundredths of a second. The B team finished with a time of 1:50.38, while the A team clocked in at 1:50.46.
• In her first collegiate event,
Emma Anderson (Mahasset, N.Y/Manhasset) took home first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:05.77. She also finished second in the 500 free with a time of 5:23.17, behind Emma Johnston of Dickinson (5:20.21).

Natalie Wisniewski (1:01.31) and Blake (1:01.35) went one-two in the 100 backstroke, with only four hundredths separating them.
• The Gettysburg 400 Freestyle Relay team of Collin, Wisniewksi,
Maggie Sedlak (Darien, Conn./Darien), and
Mia Yancey (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) finished out the meet by claiming first with a time of 3:40.82.
THE INSIDE STORY
•
Maggie Sedlak placed second in the 200 backstroke behind teammate Blake, at 2:14.21, and notched a third place finish in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:16.43.
•
Mia Yancey claimed second place in the 100 and 200 freestyle with times of 54.60 and 1:58.10, respectively.
• Evans was Gettysburg's highest placer in the 50 free, coming in fourth with a time of 25.74. Her time was less than four tenths slower than the first place finisher.
• Knoller finished second and
Annabel Gorman (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) claimed third in the 200 breaststroke behind teammate Pyott. Knoller clocked a 2:35.69, while Gorman came in at 2:37.34.

Elissa Clancy finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:00.58).
•
Morgan Krepp (Dallas, Texas/Ursuline Academy of Dallas) touched second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.01.
