READING, Pa. – On a rainy afternoon, the Ursinus College women's golf team finished in sixth place at the Albright College Invitational on Saturday.
At the Golden Oaks Golf Club, Drew University won the team title with a score of 330, Alvernia finished second with a round of 333, and King's College rounded out the top three with a final tally of 387. The Bears had four members compete at the Invitational and tallied a final score of 488.
Sophomore
Kaylin Chen recorded a tied for 12
th-place finish tallying a final score of 89, tying her lowest round score of the season back at the Ursinus Fall Invitational in September. Sophomore
Elliot Schott signed for a 105, while first-years
Lucy Bamford and
Cassie Denning each shot a 147 in their collegiate debuts.
The Bears will return to action on Monday as they travel to the Lehigh Country Club for the Muhlenberg Spring Invitational.
