LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J.—Swarthmore College Men's Cross Country raced in the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle on Saturday morning, taking 27th of 42 teams. The Garnet tallied 706 points and two runners finish in the top 100 in scoring.
Kevin Hudson scored 82 points for Swarthmore with a time of 26:23.1 in the 8K, an average mile pace of 5:18.5.
Vaughn Parts recorded 97 points for the Garnet after completing the meet in 26:34.8.
Three freshmen scored Swarthmore's final three results.
Brendan Penfold recorded a time of 27:10.6,
Ethan Rothenberg posted a 27:29.7, and
Jonah Ring ran the race in 27:36.3.
Swarthmore will now prepare for the Centennial Conference Championship on Oct. 27.
