Men’s Distance Leads Way at McElligott Invitational

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's track & field team competed at Haverford College's McElligott Invitational on Saturday.

Men's distance led the way with several strong performances. Colin DeLaney took home a top-three effort to highlight a handful of personal records on the afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- DeLaney earned a top-three finish with a third place effort in the mile at 4:26.77. Will Sheehy followed behind the sophomore with a 4:27.30 mark to claim fourth place. Both efforts were personal records.

- Jay van Adrichem Boogaert headlined a trio of top-10 finishes in the 800m run. The sophomore was seventh with a time of 2:05.24, while Ben Rosin and Kendall Praitis-Hill followed behind with times of 2:05.35 and 2:05.96, respectively. Rosin achieved a new personal record in the event.

- Rowan Orlijan-Rhyne finished 12th in the 3000m run, while winning the second heat. The sophomore set a new personal record with a time of 9:03.59.

The Garnet return to action at the Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 4.
