SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Swarthmore College Baseball extended its win streak to six on Wednesday with an 11-5 win over Cabrini University at Clothier Field.
The Garnet (25-12) handed the Cavaliers their ninth loss of the season. Cabrini has 31 wins.
Swarthmore now has three games remaining on its schedule with the hope that victories in those games will be enough to catapult them into the NCAA Tournament. The Garnet play at Clothier again on Friday at 3:30 p.m. against Misericordia (32-10).
The Garnet had 21 hits on Wednesday, eclipsing the 20-hit mark in a game for the sixth time this season. Eight Swarthmore players had a multi-hit game. Senior

Luke Mutz all had three.
Levitt was a home run shy of the cycle as he expanded his Swarthmore-record career hits total to 197.
Swarthmore scored in each of the first seven innings. Senior
Jackson Roberts got things started with a two-RBI double in the first. He hit another two-run double in the seventh.
Cabrini scored three of its runs in the third, making the score 4-3. But the Garnet made it 11-3 before the Cavaliers scored their final two runs.
Junior
Ryan Warm improved to 6-0 on the mound for Swarthmore by pitching 4.2 scoreless innings in the middle of the game. He had six strikeouts and allowed just three hits.

Zach Gonzalez and
Ricky Conti faced two batters each and got all of them out to close the game.

Jared Gillen had two hits apiece.
Again, Swarthmore's next game is at home on Friday at 3:30 p.m. versus Misericordia.
