• The Short Story: The JHU men's indoor team jumped out to a 19-point lead after day one of the Centennial Indoor Championships.
Johns Hopkins Winners:
•
Matthew Su - pentathlon 60 meter dash - 7.17, pentathlon long jump - 6.84m. Su earned first-place in two of the four pentathlon events on Saturday afternoon. Su holds a first-place lead at 2,625 points with three events left tomorrow.

Jared Pangallozzi - 5,000 meter - 14:50.33. Pangallozzi earned. a victory in the 5,000, beating out teammate
Declan Hines by just over seven seconds in a comfortable victory.
Other Top Finishers:
•
Owen Bianchi grabbed a second-place finish in the triple jump on Saturday afternoon, leaping 13.39 meters. Bianchi finished .01 meters ahead of third-place to steal silver.
• Su earned the top-spot in the 60 meter dash prelims, clocking a stellar time of 7.04 seconds. Teammate
Justin Canedy placed fourth in the prelim at 7.17 to qualify.
• Three Blue Jays qualified for the 60 meter hurdle finals on Sunday, as
Kevin Sommer (8.86),
Elias Boussouf (8.77) and Canedy (8.87) placed second, fourth and fifth.
• The Hopkins DMR placed second at the event, finishing just behind Haverford. The Blue Jays clocked in at 10:22.58 with a group of
Daniel Chen, Boussouf,
Alex Dixon and
Vipul Bhat.
