BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's soccer team used a big second half to earn its first victory of the season; a 3-0 win over Bryn Mawr at Applebee Field on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 7.

Kylee Altland and Katelyn Monette each scored a goal and added an assist to tally three total points on the day, while Kyla Brossoit's marker proved the game winner.

After a scoreless, evenly-matched first half, the Lions (1-1-2) broke through early in the second when Brossoit gathered a ball from Monette and lofted a shot over a line of defenders and the outstretched arms of Bryn Mawr goalkeeper Emma Ryan and into the back of the net in the 49th minute.

It didn't take long for Penn State Harrisburg to double the lead less than five minutes later when Monette finished off a pass from a driving Altland from left of goal in the 53rd minute. The Owls (1-3) were on their heels and Altland put things out of reach for good when she corralled a ball off a free kick near midfield and put her attempt past Ryan in the 60th minute.
