COLLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Swarthmore College Women's Track and Field competed in the Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday at Ursinus College.
Sophomore
Rose Teszler finished the mile in third place with a 5:24.42.
Pauline McMurry crossed the line in 5:42.55.
In the 3,000-meter run,
Phoebe Whiteside earned a second-place finish. The senior netted a finish time of 10:41.54. Shortly behind the senior, freshman
Ella Shenkar added a time of 11:03.56, which was good enough for a third-place finish.
Hanna Gutow crossed in 11:42.90, while
Cat Crochunis-Brown finished in 11:43.08.
Quinn Basewitz earned a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter run. The freshman crossed the finish line with a time of 2:28.85. Sophomore
Nora Blodgett finished with a mark of 2:30.66, while junior
Emma Novak crossed in 2:34.77.
Madison Snyder finished the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.89 seconds.
In the 400-meter run,
Mirayda Martinez was the Garnet runner to cross the finish line. The senior finished with a time of 1:03.99, while
Scout Hayashi finished with a time of 1:05.15.
Hayashi added a 10th place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.15 seconds, which ranks the sophmore 7th in the Centennial in the event.
Laila Kirton finished the event with a time of 11.35.
In the 5,000-meter run,
Maddie Farber added a sixth-place finish in 20:03.87.
In the pole vault event, Snyder finished with a best height of 2.60 meters (8'-06.25").
The Garnet will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Haverford College to compete in the McElligot Invitational.
