The Muhlenberg volleyball team closed out its regular season with a 3-0 sweep at Washington College, reaching the 20-win for the 12th time in program history and the fifth time in the last six years.
The Mules (20-7, 7-3) ended in a three-way tie for third place in the Centennial Conference and will be the fifth seed in the playoffs. They will travel to McDaniel for a first-round match on Wednesday.
Muhlenberg finished strong in the first and third sets to pull off its eighth sweep of the season. The Mules scored the last four points of the first set for a 25-22 win and the final six of the third for another 25-22 win. Muhlenberg had an easier time in the second set, winning 25-18.

Shannon Hubert recorded 28 assists to run her season total to 1,006. She had 1,027 assists last year and is the first player in program history with two 1,000-assist seasons.

Maggie Enestvedt led the attack with 12 kills, while senior
Kelly Tornetta added 8. Senior
Erica Schultz had 6 kills with only one error and contributed 3 blocks.
