How It Happened…
  • First Quarter: Messiah struck within the game's first five minutes. The Falcons forced a penalty corner and Mackenzie Brubaker smacked a shot that bounced off Caputo's pads. Musser was in the right spot for the rebound and slapped it into the left side of the cage. Gettysburg came right back with a pair of shots and a penalty corner, but found the way blocked by the Falcons' defense. Musser added her second goal following another penalty corner at 13:18.
  • Second Quarter: Vadinsky tried to cut the deficit in half in the early moments of the second period only to be stopped by Bomba. Caputo added two saves in the final minutes of the half to preserve the two-goal margin.
  • Third Quarter: Following another save by Caputo, the Bullets went on the offensive with four shots and four penalty corners in a minute. Three of the four looks at the cage were off target, while Bomba halted a shot by Bertrando. Palm added to the Messiah lead off a feed from Wiederrecht in the 40th minute.
  • Fourth Quarter: Vadinsky accounted for Gettysburg's final clean look at the cage in the 52nd minute, which was saved by Bomba. The Falcons held the Bullets to only one more shot over the final eight minutes. Wiederrecht dished out her second assist to Smith in the 59th minute to finish the scoring.
