GLENSIDE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Field Hockey slipped 1-0 on the road on Sunday afternoon at Arcadia University.
The Garnet were active offensively in the first half, taking 10 shots and registering five penalty corners. Swarthmore kept Arcadia scoreless through the first half and conceded the game's only goal nine minutes into the third quarter.
Marion Carr led Swarthmore with six total shots, including three on goal. Freshman Grace Twitchell added a pair of shots on frame as well.
In goal, Aron Lankford recorded five saves and faced 12 total shots.
Swarthmore continues road play on Thursday at Susquehanna University in a 5 p.m. game.
