CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's track and field team finished strong on the final day of the Danny Curran Invitational. 

Ethan Rothenberg and Sam Brody highlighted the effort with strong showings in the 1500m run, while Colin Delaney earned a top-three finish in the steeple chase.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rothenberg led the Garnet with a sixth place effort in the 1500m run. The junior improved on his previous outdoor best with a time of 4:01.97. Brody also earned a top-20 effort with a 15th place finish and a time of 4:09.82 in the 53-man event.

- Delaney was third overall in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:54.92. 

- Kendall Praitis-Hill finished 17th out of 54 runners in the 800m run. The junior recorded a time of 2:01.46 in his first outdoor attempt at the 800m run.

- Matthew Gutow placed 20th in the 400m dash with a time of 53.21. Lukas Irwin also competed in the event with a 54.47 mark.

- Sky Park finished 25th overall out of 53 competitors in the 100m dash. The sophomore crossed the finish line at 12.05 to edge out his previous best.
