The Gettysburg women won five races in a tightly contested meet against Mary Washington, but ultimately fell short.
THE LEADERS

Mia Yancey (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) took first in the 200 freestyle (1:57.58), the 100 freestyle (53.76), and placed second in the 200 IM (2:11.70).
•
Morgan Krepp (Dallas, Texas/Ursuline Academy of Dallas) won the 1000 freestyle (11:04.81) and the 500 freestyle (5:24.85).

• The 200 Freestyle Relay A-Team, of
Ava Collin (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga),
Olivia Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.),
Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury), and Yancey took first, with a time of 1:41.10. The B-Team, of
Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn),
Regan Tait (Boyds, Md./Northwest),
Maya Lily Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy), and
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa/Camp Hill), was second, at 1:41.85.
THE INSIDE STORY
The 200 Medley Relay A-Team of
Natalie Wisniewski (Summit, N.J./Summit), Knoller, Hawkins, and Collin took second with a time of 1:52.23.

Maggie Sedlak (Darien, Conn./Darien) touched second in the 1000 freestyle, clocking in at 11:16.33.
Emma Anderson (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset) placed third (5:26.11).
• Anderson also placed third in the 200 freestyle, with a 2:03.03.

Lindsay Blake (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) and Wisniewski finished two-three in the 100 backstroke, with times of 1:01.02 and 1:01.89, respectively.
•
Olivia Pyott (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Twp.) and Knoller also finished two-three in the 100 breaststroke, clocking in at 1:09.74 and 1:10.79, respectively. Pyott also placed second in the 200 breastroke, with a 2:28.82.
• Collin and
Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) swam to second and third place finishes in the 50 freestyle, respectively. They tallied times of 25.68 and 25.81.
• Collin also placed second in the 100 freestyle, behind Yancey. She swam a 55.36.
• Sedlak (2:10.79) and Blake (2:12.87) touched two-three in the 200 backstroke.
• Hawkins was third in the 100 butterfly (1:00.93).
