IMMACULATA, Pa. - In a midweek excursion from conference play, the Haverford College volleyball team (15-4) swept past host Immaculata (4-9) by set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-4 at Alumnae Hall on Wednesday evening. 

The Fords hit .475 in the victory, the third-best single-match attacking percentage in program history. Haverford tallied 35 kills against just six errors in a dominating performance. Haverford picked up its 15th win in just its 19th match of the season, the earliest the Fords have reached the 15-win milestone since the 2009 team reached that mark in just 17 matches. 

Dina Kosyagin had a match-best 11 kills while Sydney Miller tallied 19 assists on the night. Sara Matsumura notched 11 digs and added four service aces. Kendall Robison also added four service aces to her ledger. The blocking effort was paced by Julia Gallagher-Teske, as the senior notched four total blocks, while Kendall Otridge added three. 

Haverford hit .500 in the first set, jetting out to a 9-0 lead and eventually extending that advantage to 18-6, forcing a Mighty Macs timeout. Kosyagin later delivered three consecutive kills to end the set at 25-8. The second set saw Haverford tangled with the hosts early, holding just a one-point advantage at 9-8 before an extended run was capped by back-to-back service aces from Robison at 22-12. A block from Madison Adore and Otridge extended the lead to 23-13 before a pair of errors handed Haverford a 2-0 match lead at 25-13. 

The Fords started the third set on a 13-2 run before cruising to a 25-4 victory to secure the sweep. Haverford committed just one error in the final stanza, recording seven kills on 12 swings. 

Haverford improves to 9-0 all-time against the Mighty Macs in a once-dormant local series that was revived during the 2016 season. 

The Fords now return to Centennial Conference play on Saturday, welcoming No. 16 Johns Hopkins (15-0, 2-0 CC) to Gooding '84 Arena for a 12:30 p.m. first serve.
