Wells Wraps Up Myrtle Beach Trip

On Wednesday, the Wells College baseball team finished their trip to Myrtle Beach with a game against McDaniel.
The Express were still looking to secure their first win of the trip against a team they had already seen this week.
Zack Cronk got the start for the Express and had another great outing. He gave up 6 hits, 1 run, and struck out 2. In the third inning, Zack Odum scored on a single from Aaron Izquierdo and tied up the game at 1. In the 5th, Josh Pita scored on a single by Max Odum. Then, Justin Colindres and Zack Odum scored on a single from Aaron Izquierdo giving the Express a 4-1 lead. Unfortunately for the Express, in the 6th and 7th inning, McDaniel blew it wide open. They scored 7 runs in the 6th inning and 8 runs in the 7th inning to take down the Express by a score of 16-5.
