Meet Highlights
•
Ariel Keklak placed fourth in the One Mile run, putting up a time of 5:00.22. Keklak dominated the second heat and posted the fastest lap of the day, closing with a 31.18 final lap.

Ella Baran placed sixth in the One Mile run, hitting a new indoor personal best, running the course in 5:04.94.
•
Annie Gutierrez set a new PR by running the 60-meter hurdles in 9.27 seconds. A multi-event athlete, Gutierrez also grabbed seventh-place in the Pole Vault, jumping 3.50 meters.

Chinaza Nwankpa and
Alexandra Damron ran strong times in the 200-meter dash, posting 26.82 and 26.88 times respectively. The pair each added strong legs in the 4x400 relay where the Blue Jays posted a time of 4:14.48.
Coaches Corner
"After a 5 week hiatus, we resumed competition at the Great Dane Invite looking to build upon the success of our opening meet while getting back into competitive racing again. For some, it was just to get some good work in while others were certainly ready to pop off some good races."
"Ariel really got the season off well today and she's gonna do some amazing things this season especially when we get some more work under our belt and get in more competitive races for her."
"I thought we came out and competed well in almost every event. The energy levels were great and while there are certainly a lot of areas of improvement, we are in a really good spot this early in the season. We'll get back to work pretty hard these next two weeks during our intersession and we'll take another step forward next weekend at Maryland."
