Ankur Malik and sophomore
Jackson Murphy led Swarthmore College Golf to a runner-up finish at the Elizabethtown Fall Invitational on Tuesday at Hershey Country Club.
The Garnet finished the event tied for second out of 14 squads with Centennial Conference foe, Gettysburg College. Swarthmore carded a 294 on the par-71, 7,115 -yard layout of the Hershey Country Club East Course.
Murphy earned a second place overall finish with an under-par score of 69, while Malik followed with a 73 to finish tied for sixth place.
Ben Lee scored a 74 for a tenth place finish as
Alex Cheriel carded a score 78.
Michael Brown rounded out the Garnet with a card of 80.
The Garnet take the course on Sunday as they host the Frank W. Anton III Memorial Invitational at Rock Manor Golf Club.
