• The Short Story: Competing in an event with 12 Division I schools, out of the 18 competing, the Blue Jays earned a seventh-place finish with 151 points, just six points shy of sixth-place.

Race Highlights
For the second consecutive meet, Senior, Andrew King led the pack for Johns Hopkins, finishing 19^th with a time of 25:38.7. Junior, Jared Pangallozzi just missed a top-20 placing, running the course in 25:42.6 to earn a 21^st-place finish. Sean Laidlaw was the third Hopkins runner to find himself inside the top-30, picking up a 29^th-place finish with a 25:57.9 time. Conner Delahanty and Declan Hines rounded out the top-five finishers for the Blue Jays, earning 40^th and 42^nd-place finishes respectively.

Coach Van Allen's Thoughts
• "We ran a very well executed race plan that I couldn't be more pleased with. We got out well and established a solid position going into the trail and back hills. From there it was nice to see our guys really grind out the difficult hill sections and finish so well."
• "Our average top-five time (25:57) was over a minute faster than where we were two years and and 48 seconds faster than we were three years ago when we finished eighth at nationals."
• "Andrew, Jared & Sean really helped us form a strong 1-2-3 punch and Conner and Declan came through with some big races today. We're in a great spot moving forward."
